 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Independence Celebration:  Olukoyede Charges Nigerians on Renewed Commitment in Fight against Corruption

 

As Nigerians are basking in the euphoria of the nation’s 64th Independence Anniversary,  Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  Mr. Ola Olukoyede has called for more commitment to  the fight against economic and financial crimes and other acts of corruption in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.


He made the call in Abuja on Tuesday,  October 1,  2024  in an Independence Anniversary Message to Nigerians.  


According to him,  the EFCC is more resolute in its drive to make Nigeria corruption-free and charges every Nigerian to collaborate more  with the Commission in pursuit of reform, progress and enduring development.


“At the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  we are resolute in our fight against corruption in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.  As we celebrate our 64th INDEPENDENCE,  let us forge ahead in pursuit of reform,  progress and enduring development”, he said.


He expressed optimism that Nigeria can get better, rule the world and conquer corruption through enhanced commitment, passion and drives of every Nigerian.  “We can make Nigeria greater.  We can rule the world.  We can conquer corruption!”, he said.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
