 Gov. Ododo’s Executive Proclamation Not State of Emergency  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo  has clarified that his recent Executive Proclamation on security protocols in the state is not a declaration of a state of emergency but a set of necessary measures to enhance the security architecture to crackdown on criminals in all parts of the state.  This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, explaining that the proclamation is a lawful constitutional measure aimed at strengthening security coordination and protecting lives and property across Kogi State.  Gov.  Kwara Govt Distributes Cheques for Solar-Powered Boreholes, Toilets in 20 Communities


As part of the recommendations from the Kwara Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) summit, organized by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant on Community Development to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Community Project Management Committees (CPMCs) have received cheques for the construction of 20 solar-powered motorized boreholes and 20 toilets across the state.


This was shared via the social media pages of Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, the SSA on Community Development to the Governor, and was obtained by Just Event Online TV on Friday.


The 20 benefiting communities, spanning all 16 Local Government Areas, include Makebe, Idi-Ose, Aribidesi, Gaa-Mudi, Taiwo, Aboki, Balogun, Osunte, Apado, Ganmo, Areyi, Oke-Oyi Isin, Idi-Ogede, Illofa, Etan, Onisapa, Rokogi, Pakata, Oke-Suna, Kulende, and Idofin-Igbanna.


The projects were initiated in partnership with the Kwara State Community and Social Development Agency (KWASCDA) and the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA).
