A MANHUNT IS UNDERWAY FOR MAN WHO SHOT A GRANITE CITY POLICE OFFICER MULTIPLE TIMES.(PHOTO).

  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. PRESIDENT TINUBU GREETS POLITICAL ALLY, CHIEF HENRY AJOMALE AT 80

 

President Bola Tinubu congratulates Chief Henry Ajomale, the former chairman of the Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), and the All-Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, on his 80th birthday.  

 

President Tinubu rejoices with the lawyer, businessman and political ally, who also served as Commissioner for Special Duties in Lagos State during the President's tenure as governor.  

 

The President acknowledges Chief Ajomale’s lifetime of service, selfless leadership and immense contributions to the state and the nation. 

 

He believes that Chief Ajomale’s remarkable leadership qualities have been evident since his early days as a student union leader and have shone through his work in the courtroom, boardroom, political arena, and active membership of Lagos State's well-respected Governance Advisory Council (GAC).  

 

As family, friends, political associates and well-wishers celebrate Baba Ajomale, President Tinubu prays for the continued well-being of the octogenarian and all members of his household.
