 BADAGRY ANGELS WIN LAGOS SOFTBALL TOURNEY  Badagry Angels have been crowned champions of the Lagos U-15 Softball Championship held recently at the Badagry Grammar School playing field, Badagry. The five-day tournament, which began on November 11, 2024, ended on Friday, November 15 where eight teams participated in the competition designed to drive the growth of the sport at the grassroots level. As Champions of the tournament, Badagry Angels showcased their dexterity and skills against Rak Angels in the grand finale, maintaining their good position and dominance on the field before finally trouncing their opponents 9 runs to 1.  Why is it that all the artists Don Jazzy signed after they leave, their career goes downhill” – Portable makes observation as he toots his horns


Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has made an observation about music executive Don Jazzy and his former label artists


In a video on his Instagram page, he noted how many of the artists Don Jazzy signs go downhill after he leaves them. He mentioned names like Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, Dija, and others whose careers are no longer as big as they used to be. He also noted how it is the same for Olamide, as many of his artists, after leaving, go downhill.


Bragging, Portable noted how he doesn’t have a big record label backing him, yet, he continues to win and top charts.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
