 BADAGRY ANGELS WIN LAGOS SOFTBALL TOURNEY  Badagry Angels have been crowned champions of the Lagos U-15 Softball Championship held recently at the Badagry Grammar School playing field, Badagry. The five-day tournament, which began on November 11, 2024, ended on Friday, November 15 where eight teams participated in the competition designed to drive the growth of the sport at the grassroots level. As Champions of the tournament, Badagry Angels showcased their dexterity and skills against Rak Angels in the grand finale, maintaining their good position and dominance on the field before finally trouncing their opponents 9 runs to 1. Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has kept to her promise to welcome her in-laws in grand style to Nigeria


In September, when her daughter, Priscilla visited Tanzanian, Iyabo Ojo penned a note to her in-laws for embracing Priscilla with warmth and acceptance. 


She said their kindness meant everything to her, as she promised to shut down the city of Lagos and give them a grand welcome anytime they visited Nigeria


The movie star has kept to her promise, as she shared a video of the grand welcome she and Priscilla gave to her boyfriend’s sister. Praising her, she described her daughter’s sister-in-law as amazing and a precious addition to their family. She stated that her kindness and thoughtfulness have touched their hearts.


Iyabo promised to give her an unforgettable experience and shower her with love, laughter, and adventure in Lagos.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
