 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  Angolan Ambassador to Nigeria, Jose Bamoquina Zau has called on Nigerian investors to explore opportunities in its booming economy, as it commemorates 49 years of independence from Portugal.


At the Independence Day celebration in Abuja, Ambassador Jose Bamoquina Zau, highlighted the role of strengthening economic, political, and military cooperation between both nations. 


He announced plans to establish the Angola-Nigeria Bilateral Joint Commission and invited Nigerian investors to participate in key projects across Angola, including investments in the Lobito Refinery, Luanda International Airport, Barra do Dande Free Trade Zone, and a 1,300-kilometer highway project.
