 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢, 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬, 𝐀𝐤𝐮𝐦𝐞, 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟕𝟔𝟐 𝐅𝐂𝐓 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has revoked the lands allocated to several prominent Nigerians, including former President Muhammadu Buhari, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, due to non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy fees. Also, 759 other prominent figures and organisations in Maitama II, Abuja. were also affected by the revocation which was for non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy. FG HAS ANNOUNCED THE PROMOTION OF 331 DIRECTORS WITHIN THE FEDERAL CIVIL SERVICE. (PHOTO).



 The Federal Government has announced the promotion of 331 directors within the federal civil service.


These newly appointed directors were part of a pool of 697 candidates who participated in the oral interviews held on November 4, 2024.


Earlier, in May 2024, the Federal Civil Service Commission had issued a notification regarding the promotion and evaluation process for senior civil servants at Grade Levels 14, 15, and 16.


The written assessments for the promotion process took place from August 12 to August 17, 2024.


Following the written exams, the Civil Service Commission called in those who passed for oral interviews on October 11, 2024, and subsequently released an additional list of candidates on October 21, 2024.


The final list of promotions was released in a memo signed by Prof. Tunji Olaopa, Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission.


“Following the Year 2024 Directorate Level Promotion/Evaluation Exercise, the Federal Civil Service Commission has approved the promotion of the following Officers in the Federal Civil Service from Salary Grade Levels 14 to 15, 15 to 16, and 16 to 17, effective January 1, 2024,” stated Olaopa in the memo.
