 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu pays condolence visit to Lagbaja’s family


Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has paid a condolence visit to the family of the Late Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja.


The First Lady was accompanied on the visit by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima and the wife of the National Security Adviser, Hajia Ribadu.


They were received by the wife of the Chief of Defence Staff, Mrs Oghogho Musa.


While comforting the widow, Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja and the children, Oluremi Tinubu noted that the Lord only can determine when a man dies.


She urged the family to be comforted by the good life and legacies the late COAS left behind.


She equally urged the children to remain focused and pursue the ideals their father lived for.


The Late Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja, died after a period of illness at the age of 56 years.
