Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen step out in coordinated black looks for New York stroll Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made a rare joint appearance in New York City, stepping out together for a relaxed afternoon in matching, understated fashion. The 39-year-old twins were seen walking through Midtown Manhattan on April 30, dressed in coordinated black trench coats paired with wide-leg denim. They completed the look with sunglasses, scarves, and structured alligator handbags from their luxury label, The Row, before stopping for lunch during their outing. Long before becoming fashion insiders, the sisters built global recognition as child actors through projects like Full House, It Takes Two, and New York Minute. INDIA: AS POLITICAL TENSIONS RISE IN ASSAM AHEAD OF THE BY-POLLS, ANOTHER INCIDENT OF PRE-POLL VIOLENCE HAS BEEN REPORTED FROM TGE SAMAGURI ASSEMBLY CONSTITUENCY. (PHOTO).

As political tensions rise in Assam ahead of the by-polls, another incident of pre-poll violence has been reported from the Samaguri Assembly constituency. The incident occurred in Juria, within the Samaguri Assembly seat, which is set to go to the polls on November 13. A BJP worker, identified as Akbar Ali, was allegedly attacked by unidentified miscreants while returning home from the Kesakhaiti market in Samaguri.

Ali sustained serious injuries in the attack and was initially treated at the Kawoimari health center. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later referred to a hospital in Nagaon for further medical attention. This attack follows a previous incident of pre-poll violence on October 15, where another BJP worker was killed in the Samaguri constituency, highlighting a concerning trend of escalating violence as the by-election approaches.

Despite the rising tensions, election campaigning is in full swing across the constituency. The BJP candidate, Diplu Ranjan Sarma, is actively conducting door-to-door campaigns, aiming to connect with more voters. Sarma is competing against Tanzil Hussain, the son of Dhubri MP Rakibul Hussain, who is representing the Congress in Samaguri. Both candidates are engaged in rigorous campaigning to secure support from the electorate.

The charged atmosphere in Samaguri has led to increased security measures, as authorities work to ensure a smooth and peaceful election process. With only a few days left until the by-poll, the contest between the BJP and Congress candidates is heating up, and tensions on the ground remain high amid the heightened campaign activity.
