 Troops Rescue 10 Kidnap Victims, Recover Weapons, Cash In Kaduna Troops of Sector 5 under Operation Peace Shield have rescued 10 kidnapped victims and recovered arms, ammunition and ransom money in a successful operation in Kaduna State. The rescue followed the abduction of several women from their farms in Ungwan Nungu, Sanga Local Government Area, on 29 November 2025. Security forces launched an immediate search-and-rescue mission to track the kidnappers. According to military authorities, the breakthrough came at about 6:40 a.m. on 5 December 2025, when troops intercepted the kidnappers during an attempted ransom collection. The armed group reportedly came under heavy fire, forcing them to flee into the surrounding forest and abandon the hostages.  LG COMMISSIONER MOURNS EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF ONIGBONGBO LCDA


The Lagos State Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mr. Bolaji Kayode Robert (Bibiire) has expressed shock and sadness over the demise of the Executive Chairman, Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Hon. Dotun Olakanle passed on after a brief illness in the early hours of Saturday, 2nd November 2024.


The Honourable Commissioner, while commiserating with the family and loved ones, said that the Chairman was a humanist and a leader dedicated to the development of his council after assuming office.


Robert, stated this through the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa who led the delegation of State Government officials on a condolence visit to the family of the deceased Chairman.


According to him, "We lost a gem, an extraordinary Chairman who has dedicated his life to the development of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area and, by extension, Lagos State".


During the visit, the Commissioner further prayed for the repose of his soul and that God Almighty comfort the wife, family, friends and the people of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area.


The Permanent Secretary was accompanied on the visit by the Director of the Local Government Administration Department and was received by the APC Chairperson, Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, Alhaja Iyabo Aminat Akerele and top Council officials of Onigbongbo LCDA.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
