 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. King West, the son of the new president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW, MC Oluomo, has blasted Nigerians for mocking his father over his items being thrown out of the NURTW office in Lagos


Hours ago, a video made rounds of the former Lagos State NURTW chairman’s portrait and items being thrown out of his Lagos office following his move to Lagos.


After his short lived victory, MC Oluomo’s many portraits and other items cleared out of the office of NURTW National President following his sack by Court of Appeal 😭😭🧎🏼‍♂️

Reacting to it via his Instagram story, King West told Nigerians to be wise and smart, as he noted how if an immediate leader leaves office, a successor comes in.
