 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013.  Minister inaugurates builders’ disciplinary tribunal


The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa, has inaugurated a seven-member Disciplinary Tribunal for Registered Builders of Nigeria.


This was disclosed in a recent statement by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Salis Haiba.


The statement noted that the disciplinary tribunal was charged with the duty of considering and determining any case of infraction by the members referred to it by the panel established by the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria.


In his inauguration speech, the minister was said to have expressed the ministry’s dedication to collaborating with professional bodies and regulatory agencies in the built environment, to ensure it meets global standards.


While acknowledging the responsibility of builders to construct safe and reliable structures that protect lives, the minister emphasised the importance of adhering to regulations and standards in the profession.
