 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. MUMBAI POLICE HAVE ARRESTED THE BOYFRIEND OF A 25-YEAR-OLD AIR INDIAN PILOT 'SRISHTI TULI, WHO WAS FOUND HANGING IN HER FLAT IN MAROL. (PHOTO).

 Mumbai police have arrested the boyfriend of a 25-year-old Air India pilot, Srishti Tuli, who was found hanging in her flat in Marol. 

The incident occurred on Tuesday, prompting authorities to take Aditya Pandit, 27, into custody on charges of abetment to suicide. According to an official from the Powai police station, Tuli was originally from Uttar Pradesh and had been living in Mumbai for work since June last year.


Tuli and Pandit had been in a relationship since they met during a commercial pilot training course in Delhi two years ago. On the day of the incident, Pandit received a call from Tuli while he was en route to Delhi. She reportedly told him about her intention to take her own life. Rushing back to Mumbai, Pandit found her flat locked from the inside. With the help of a key maker, he entered and discovered her hanging with a data cable.


The young pilot was immediately taken to Seven Hills Hospital, where she was declared dead. No suicide note was found at the scene. Following the incident, Tuli’s uncle filed a police complaint alleging that Pandit harassed and humiliated her on multiple occasions. He also claimed that Pandit pressured Tuli to change her dietary habits, including giving up non-vegetarian food.


Based on the complaint, Pandit was arrested under Section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which deals with abetment of suicide. He was presented in court and remanded to police custody for four days as the investigation continues. The tragic case has drawn attention to the emotional struggles faced by young professionals and the importance of addressing harassment in relationships.
