 No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

 NFF In Discussion With Dangote, Others On Payment Of Foreign Coach - President


The President, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau has said that they are in discussion with the Dangote, MTN, Baba Ijebu on the payment of foreign coach, BSNSports.com.ng reports.


Gusau made this known at the National Assembly on Wednesday while defending the 2025 budget before the House Committee on Sports.


NFF engaged the services of Bruno Labbadia as Super Eagles Coach before the deal broke down few days after announcement. 


Reacting to whether or not the federation is it ready to engage any foreign coach, Gusau said payment has been a big issue of embarrassment to Nigeria and are in discussion with sponsors to take care of the payment.


"We are currently in discussion with Dangote Group, BUA, MTN, Baba Ijebu and others on the payment of foreign coach. Though, Eguavoen is doing well, but if we must engage a coach, we must make sure that the issue of payment is sorted. Until last February, the Federal Government did not pay the salary of our former coaches leading to 18-month debt of Jose Peseiro before President Tinubu led government cleared the debt.
