 The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has achieved a landslide victory in the recent Zamfara State local government elections, winning all 14 chairmanship seats and every councillorship position.


The Chairman of Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZASIEC) Bala Aliyu announced the results on Sunday in Gusau, the state capital. 


He descrived the elections as free, fair, and credible, highlighting the role of security agencies, election officials, and voters in ensuring the success.
