PLATEAU GOVT SIGNED A MOU WITH INTERNATIONAL NGOs; BEB AND ASSOCIATION OF ORPHANAGES AND HOME OPERATORS IN NIGERIA TO CREARE DIGITAL IDENTITIES FOR CHILDREN IN ORPHANAGES. (PHOTO).

 The Plateau State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with international NGOs; Both Ends Believing (BEB) and Association of Orphanages and Homes operators in Nigeria to create digital identities for children in orphanages. 


The MoU aims to find permanent, safe, and caring families for children in orphanages. Through the Children First Software, the MoU will help children living in institutions unite with loving families.


Governor Caleb Mutfwang, represented by the State Commissioner for Women affairs, Caroline Panglang Dafur, said the state would support the initiative and also track fake orphanages operating in the state and prosecute anyone involved in child trafficking.
