 Gov. Ododo’s Executive Proclamation Not State of Emergency  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo  has clarified that his recent Executive Proclamation on security protocols in the state is not a declaration of a state of emergency but a set of necessary measures to enhance the security architecture to crackdown on criminals in all parts of the state.  This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, explaining that the proclamation is a lawful constitutional measure aimed at strengthening security coordination and protecting lives and property across Kogi State.  Gov. Ododo emphasized that it is within his powers as the Chief Security Officer of the state under Section 14 subsection 2(b) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended). TINUBU IDENTIFIES CREATIVE SECTOR AS KEY TO ECONOMIC DIVERSIFICATION. (PHOTO).

President Bola Tinubu has identified the creative economy as a pivotal element of his administration’s economic diversification agenda, reaffirming his commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a driving force for global influence.


The President stated this at the launch of the 2024 Abuja International Carnival at Eagle Square, Abuja.


President Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said the carnival reaffirms the essence of who Nigerians are—”a people of culture, a people of art, a people of colour, and a people of shared values”.


In a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to The President on Media & Communications, Office of The Vice President, Stanley Nkwocha, under the theme, “Carnival of Renewed Hope: A Pledge to My Country”, the event showcased performances from across Nigeria and beyond, demonstrating the administration’s commitment to cultural diplomacy.


The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, working alongside the Federal Capital Territory Administration and the Abuja International Carnival Secretariat, also received presidential commendation for their role in organising the event.


Hannatu Musawa, the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, represented by the Acting Permanent Secretary, Oraelumo Raphael, described the carnival as a unique platform involving Nigeria’s 36 states, the FCT, and participants from around the world. He reiterated the Federal Ministry’s role as the coordinating body and the FCT’s role as host.


The Abuja International Carnival continues to serve as a vibrant showcase of Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and a platform for fostering international collaboration and understanding.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
