 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. AFROBEATS STAR 'ROTIMI' HAS REVEALED WHY HE LEFT AMERICAN RAPPER '50 CENT'S RECORD LABEL, G-UNIT. (PHOTO).

 Afrobeats star, Rotimi, has revealed why he left American rapper, 50 Cent's record label, G- Unit.


Rotimi disclosed that he exited the label because the boss didn't understand his style of music. According to him, afrobeats

wasn't mainstream in the Western world at the time he was signed to G-Unit.


Speaking in a recent interview with Adesope Live, Rotimi said, 


"I was signed to G-Unit, but then in 2017/2018, Afrobeats was not mainstream in the United States. Davido and Wizkid had records that were gaining traction in Boston, New York, but it wasn't mainstream at that time.

"Afrobeats was big in the States, but they weren't following it in LA. So, 50 Cent and I hada

conversation. He was like, What's this sound you are trying to do? said, 'Bro, it's Afrobeats.

"I have a record called Love to blow up. But if you don't understand what it is, then I have to go somewhere else.' He let me out of my deal because we disagreed on the creative process, Afrobeats."
