 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. AFROBEATS STAR 'ROTIMI' HAS REVEALED WHY HE LEFT AMERICAN RAPPER '50 CENT'S RECORD LABEL, G-UNIT. (PHOTO).

 Afrobeats star, Rotimi, has revealed why he left American rapper, 50 Cent's record label, G- Unit.


Rotimi disclosed that he exited the label because the boss didn't understand his style of music. According to him, afrobeats

wasn't mainstream in the Western world at the time he was signed to G-Unit.


Speaking in a recent interview with Adesope Live, Rotimi said, 


"I was signed to G-Unit, but then in 2017/2018, Afrobeats was not mainstream in the United States. Davido and Wizkid had records that were gaining traction in Boston, New York, but it wasn't mainstream at that time.

"Afrobeats was big in the States, but they weren't following it in LA. So, 50 Cent and I hada

conversation. He was like, What's this sound you are trying to do? said, 'Bro, it's Afrobeats.

"I have a record called Love to blow up. But if you don't understand what it is, then I have to go somewhere else.' He let me out of my deal because we disagreed on the creative process, Afrobeats."
