 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola is singing the praises of her senior colleague Funke Akindele


Taking to her Instagram page to celebrate the filmmaker for hitting over a billion Naira in her cinema movie, Wumi called her a Woman King. She stated that she is celebrating the hard work, consistency, grace, and resilience in Funke.

Her post is coming less than a week after her ex-friends, Toyin Abraham, and Seyi Edun, reconciled. 


We reported that Seyi had extended an olive branch to her Toyin by promoting her new movie, Bhad and Boujee. The mother of twins had shown support for the mother of one at the Cinema, where she urged her fans to come watch the movie with her.


Surprisingly, Toyin expressed gratitude to her for the support as she commented on her post with, “Thanks love.”
