 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  An Excellent celebration, appreciation of LASTMA "Dancing Officer" by Lagos First Lady 


Yesterday, the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Mrs Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu joined by some members of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO),  celebrated an exceptional officer of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Mr. Timothy Olusegun Adefolalu, fondly known as the "Dancing Officer," at the Lagos House, Ikeja.


Mr. Adefolalu, stationed at the Radio Junction, Oregun, Ikeja, has won the admiration of motorists and commuters with his remarkable passion, dedication, and unique ability to manage Lagos traffic with his delightful dancing steps.


His enthusiasm and commitment exemplify excellence in public service, showcasing the spirit of dedication that drives Lagos State forward.


Dr Sanwo-Olu commended his courage, hard work, and love for his job and extended her best wishes to him and his entire family for a fulfilling and prosperous 2025.
