 New York governor Kathy Hochul demands termination of ALL employees caught on body cameras participating in a brutal beating that left a man deceased. 43-year-old Robert Brooks' last moments on Earth were absolutely terrifying. His tragic death was captured on December 9th with body cameras. No less than 8 correctional officers savagely beat Robert while he was handcuffed and helpless. The governor is calling for the immediate termination of over one dozen correctional officers and one nurse.    In the video you witness Mr. Brooks being physically carried into a medical examination room by a group of correctional officers.  Once inside, the handcuffed man suffered humiliation and unimaginable pain at the hands of correctional officers. ANITA JOSEPH HAS RECEIVED AN HONORARY DOCTORATE DEGREE IN HUMANITY. (PHOTO).

Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has received an honorary Doctorate Degree in Humanity, much to the delight of her fans and colleagues in the industry.


Anita announced this exciting achievement on Instagram, sharing her happiness about reaching this important milestone. Her post featured a video from the ceremony, where she wore a convocation gown and beamed with joy as she accepted her certificate and celebrated with her peers. According to Eyes Of Lagos,


In her caption, she stated: 

“I was awarded a doctorate in humanity. Meet Dr. Minister Anita Joseph OLAGUNJU!! My big sister also received a doctorate in Philosophy, so meet Dr. Evangelist Sandra Nah W W. Please address me properly now, biko. My title has changed oh. Congratulations to us and to you too. Shalom.”

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
