  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. CHAN 2024 QUALIFIER: HOME EAGLES BEAT GHANA 3-1 TO CLINCH TICKET. (PHOTO).

Nigeria secured a place at the 2024 African Nations Championship following a 3-1 victory over perennial rivals Ghana in Uyo on Saturday night.


The Home Eagles dominated the opening exchanges, scoring three goals within six minutes in the first half.


Sodiq Ismail opened the scoring for Nigeria in the 18th minute.


The right-back fired home after being set up by captain Junior Nduka.


Nduka doubled the lead three minutes later, slotting the ball into the net from inside the box.


Rangers winger Isaac Saviour capitalised on a defensive error by the Ghanaian defence to score the third goal.


Substitute Amankona Stephen reduced the deficit for the visitors 18 minutes from time.


The Home Eagles will return to the competition after missing the last two editions.
