 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. The renowned Afrobeats star held a sold-out concert in Amsterdam which was attended by dignitaries .


On Saturday night, November 30, 2024, the DMW boss made his debut at the iconic venue, thrilling fans with a dynamic show alongside guest artists like Zlatan Ibile, Frenna, Darkoo, Logos Olori, and Ir-Sais.

With this feat, Davido joins the ranks of Nigerian stars who have shut down the Ziggo Dome, following Burna Boy in April 2022 and Wizkid in November 2022.
