In everything give thanks - Funsho Adeoti speaks up amidst backlash over Mercy Aigbe’s property loss

Funsho Adeoti, the first wife of Nollywood film producer and marketer Kazim Adeoti, had spoken up amidst the backlash that followed her previous post.

On Instagram, Funsho Adeoti wrote about the importance of thanksgiving. Quoting from the scriptures, the mother of four urged everyone to be thankful in all things.

She noted that she is thankful in all circumstances, even when it is difficult

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning us.

Thankful in all circumstances, even when those circumstances are difficult.”

This post follows the backlash she received from netizens for that king God hours after her husband’s second wife, Mercy Aigbe, listed her property in Nigeria.

The US-based Funsho Adeoti created a buzz online when she shared a Thanksgiving message hours after the fire incident.

Although there is a time difference in their location, many claimed Funsho’s Thanksgiving was insensitive amidst Mercy Aigbe’s loss. In contrast, others vouched for her, stating she always thanks God on her Instagram page
