 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state.  Kogi Government Acquires 15 Hectares for New Ultra-Modern Market


The Kogi State Government has secured 15 hectares of land for the development of an ultra-modern market, set to replace the old Lokoja International Market. Located along Hassan Katsina Road, Zone 8 in Lokoja, the land was officially handed over to the contractor, SABC, on Monday by the state’s Commissioners for Works and Commerce, along with the Permanent Secretary of the Bureau of Land and Urban Development, Bayegusi Taiwo, who represented the Director General.


During the ceremony, the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards, warning the contractor against subpar work. He highlighted the significance of the project to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and assured that all legal issues related to the land had been resolved, with fair compensation given to everyone with an interest in the property.


Abdulrazaq Adio, the consultant from SABC, assured that the project would be completed on time and according to the specified standards. He thanked the government for their due diligence and pledged that the company would deliver as promised.


The new market is being relocated from the old Lokoja International Market, situated along the busy Lokoja/Abuja road, which has been prone to frequent accidents. This move is expected to improve safety and accessibility.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
