 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢, 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬, 𝐀𝐤𝐮𝐦𝐞, 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟕𝟔𝟐 𝐅𝐂𝐓 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has revoked the lands allocated to several prominent Nigerians, including former President Muhammadu Buhari, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, due to non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy fees. Also, 759 other prominent figures and organisations in Maitama II, Abuja. were also affected by the revocation which was for non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy.  LASG DIVERTS TRAFFIC ON AKIN ADESOLA STREET IN VICTORIA ISLAND FOR BMW’s AUTOFEST


The Lagos State Government has announced a road closure on Akin Adesola’s Street, Victoria Island for the Bavarian Motor Works outdoor show (BMW’s AUTOFEST), scheduled to hold on Sunday, 15th December, 2024, between 12:00 noon and 7:00 pm.


Motorists are enjoined to use alternative routes as follows:


Motorists from Falomo inward Ahmadu Bello on Akin Adesola Street are urged to turn right into Adeola Odeku to link Eletu Ogabi Street to access Kasumu Ekemode Street to Bishop Oluwole Street to connect Akin Adesola Street and continue their journeys.


Motorists from Ahmadu Bello Way to Falomo Bridge via Akin Adesola Street are implored to turn right and connect Karimu Kotun Street to link Sanusi Fafunwa Street to access Akin Adesola for a desired destination.


Motorists from Adeola Odeku inward Falomo Bridge should connect Akin Olugbade U-Turn on a contraflow to link Akin Adesola Street to continue their journeys.


However, Motorists from Adeola Odeku inward Ahmadu Bello will have a through movement.


ADVISORY: Motorists are implored to be patient as the Traffic Management Personnel will be on the diversion corridors to ease movement.
