 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  N80bn Zaria Projects to Boost Jobs and Education in Kaduna – Governor Uba Sani


Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has announced that the four tertiary institutions valued at N80bn being developed in Zaria will create job opportunities and enhance education in the region. The institutions—National Open University, Federal College of Education, Federal College of Nursing, and College of Legal Studies—are part of the Zaria Education City Project initiated by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas. 


Governor Sani highlighted the significant benefits these projects will bring to Zaria and Kaduna State, particularly by addressing manpower shortages in key sectors such as health and education. The project is expected to be completed in 18 months, significantly improving local education and creating employment opportunities.
