 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  Nollywood Actress and Former Beauty Queen Princess Chineke Enlists in U.S. Army


Princess Chineke, a well-known Nollywood actress and former beauty queen, has made a surprising career shift by joining the U.S. Army. Once a contestant in the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant, Princess has traded her crown for a soldier's uniform, becoming the first Nollywood actress to enlist in the U.S. Army.


Known for her roles in popular Nigerian TV series and films such as Battleground, Last Flight to Abuja, Super Story, and Papa Ajasco, Princess also modeled for TV commercials, billboards, and runways before transitioning to acting.


Her decision to join the military has stunned many of her fans, who remember her for her captivating performances on screen. However, Princess, who is also a former Miss UNIBEN, has expressed her deep passion for serving her adopted country.


“I love the prestige that comes with the American military,” she said. “As a citizen of this great country that has done so much for me, I feel it’s my turn to give back. God bless America.”
