 Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, Decries Members’ Inaccessibility of Education, Jobs, Health Facilities in Anambra Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) has identified inaccessibility of public buildings, transport, schools and health facilities as well as limited employment opportunities for qualified members in organized private sector as challenges facing its members in Anambra state. State Chairman, Comr Ugochukwu Okeke disclosed this on Friday at the End-of-the-Year Meeting and Prayer Summit in commemoration of 2025 International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The annual event, themed, “Let Us Praise God” drew over,500 members from across the 21 local government areas of the state.  Nollywood Actress and Former Beauty Queen Princess Chineke Enlists in U.S. Army


Princess Chineke, a well-known Nollywood actress and former beauty queen, has made a surprising career shift by joining the U.S. Army. Once a contestant in the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant, Princess has traded her crown for a soldier's uniform, becoming the first Nollywood actress to enlist in the U.S. Army.


Known for her roles in popular Nigerian TV series and films such as Battleground, Last Flight to Abuja, Super Story, and Papa Ajasco, Princess also modeled for TV commercials, billboards, and runways before transitioning to acting.


Her decision to join the military has stunned many of her fans, who remember her for her captivating performances on screen. However, Princess, who is also a former Miss UNIBEN, has expressed her deep passion for serving her adopted country.


“I love the prestige that comes with the American military,” she said. “As a citizen of this great country that has done so much for me, I feel it’s my turn to give back. God bless America.”
