 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Nollywood Actress and Former Beauty Queen Princess Chineke Enlists in U.S. Army


Princess Chineke, a well-known Nollywood actress and former beauty queen, has made a surprising career shift by joining the U.S. Army. Once a contestant in the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant, Princess has traded her crown for a soldier's uniform, becoming the first Nollywood actress to enlist in the U.S. Army.


Known for her roles in popular Nigerian TV series and films such as Battleground, Last Flight to Abuja, Super Story, and Papa Ajasco, Princess also modeled for TV commercials, billboards, and runways before transitioning to acting.


Her decision to join the military has stunned many of her fans, who remember her for her captivating performances on screen. However, Princess, who is also a former Miss UNIBEN, has expressed her deep passion for serving her adopted country.


“I love the prestige that comes with the American military,” she said. “As a citizen of this great country that has done so much for me, I feel it’s my turn to give back. God bless America.”
