  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. PRESIDENT TINUBU CHAURS FEDERAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING. (PHOTO).

 President Tinubu chairs Federal Executive Council Meeting


President Bola Tinubu is presently chairing the Federal Executive Council meeting. The President arrived at the Council Chamber of the State House Abuja for the meeting at about 1:20 PM.


Members of the FEC consist of ministers and some presidential aides among others. Vice President Kashim Shettima is not present at the meeting as he is away for an official assignment in Dubai. He is also expected to proceed to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the lesser Hajj.


With exactly two weeks to the end of 2024, it is not certain if this will be the last meeting of the FEC in the year. 


However, President Tinubu is expected to lay the 2025 Appropriation Bill before the National Assembly on Tuesday, a day after FEC.
