 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  South Korean President Yoon Banned from Leaving Country Amid Political Crisis


South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol has been banned from leaving the country following a tumultuous week that saw him impose martial law, triggering widespread protests and a failed impeachment motion. 


The Justice Ministry confirmed the unprecedented travel ban on Yoon, along with several of his allies involved in the controversial events, including former ministers and military officials. Despite surviving the impeachment vote, Yoon's approval rating has plummeted to a historic low, and opposition leaders are preparing for another push to remove him from office. The situation has sparked accusations of an unconstitutional power grab by Yoon’s ruling party.
