 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  35-Year-Old Man Mobbed for Allegedly Stealing Church Keyboard


A 35-year-old man, identified as Ismaila, was severely beaten by an angry mob on Wednesday in the Okumagba area of Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, for allegedly stealing a church keyboard.


The mob, after attacking him, placed a motor tire around his neck and paraded him from Willie Street to Okumagba Avenue.


The suspect sustained serious injuries, including a bruised head, as the mob prepared to set him ablaze. However, mobile police officers arrived at the scene in time to rescue him. They transported the suspect to the "B" Division Police Station, assuring the public that he would confess and expose any accomplices.


Despite the intervention, the mob expressed frustration, criticizing the police for preventing them from burning the suspect to deter others from committing similar crimes.


At the time of this report, the suspect had been taken into police custody.
