 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. A MISSISSIPPI WOMAN WAS KIDNAPPED FROM A NISSAN PLANT YESTERDAY. (PHOTO).

 A Mississippi woman was kidnapped from a Nissan Plant yesterday morning. She jumped from car to escape her attacker only to be fatally struck by another vehicle.


This sad saga began Monday morning at the Nissan plant in Canton, Mississippi when Glynis Jackson (who was a mother of 3) was forced into a car. Her kidnapper was her ex-boyfriend, 29-year-old Joshua Andrews. Holmes County Sheriff Willie March has gone on record saying she jumped from the vehicle. She had been shot at this point.


After forcing Glynis into his vehicle, Andrews fled down I-55. While going through Holmes County, Glynis reportedly attempted to escape the vehicle by jumping from the car. Tragically she was struck and killed by another motorist.


Glynis was discovered deceased near the 161 mile marker. Police have confirmed she had suffered multiple gunshot wounds in addition to being struck by the vehicle. There was a gun discovered on scene. It's not clear if Glynis grabbed the weapon before jumping from the car or if it was thrown out by Andrews.


Joshua Andrews would later turn himself in to Carroll County Sheriff's Office. He is being charged with capitol murder and possession of a weapon by a felon. He is being held without bond.
