  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. BOY CHARGED AFTER ALLEGEDLY BRANDISHING TOMAHAWK AT MANDURAH FORUM. (PHOTO).

 Boy charged after allegedly brandishing tomahawk at Mandurah Forum.


A 15-year-old boy has been charged after allegedly chasing another juvenile through the Mandurah Forum while armed with a tomahawk.


The accused was allegedly involved in an altercation with a group of youths around 3.30pm on December 26.


He then allegedly armed himself with the axe and chased one of the teenagers.


The boy then left the area and was later arrested by police on December 27.


He has since been charged with being armed in a way that may cause fear.


The accused is due to appear in the Perth Children's Court on January 10.


"Proactive patrols of major shopping centres in the Mandurah district continue to be conducted by local police, including the utilisation of new scanning legislation for edged weapons," a WA Police spokesperson said.


"To date more than 100 scans have been conducted in the Mandurah area throughout designated zones."
