 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Copa del Rey: 14 Clubs Advance to Round of 16 [Full List]


Fourteen teams have secured their spots in the Copa del Rey round of 16 following the conclusion of Sunday's round of 32 matches.


Elche delivered a commanding 4-0 victory over Las Palmas, with goals from Rodri Mendoza, David Affengruber, Jose Salinas, and Nicolas Fernandez to book their place in the next round.


Real Sociedad also progressed with a 2-0 win over Ponferradina, while Celta Vigo triumphed 3-2 over Racing.


Alongside Elche, Real Sociedad, and Celta Vigo, the following teams have qualified for the round of 16: Barcelona, Osasuna, Real Betis, Rayo Vallecano, Getafe, Ourense, Leganés, Almería, Atlético Madrid, Athletic Club, and Pontevedra.


Remaining round of 32 fixtures will be held today and tomorrow, including Real Madrid's match against Deportivo Minera on Monday night and Valencia's clash with Eldense.
