A FLORIDA SEA TOW CAPTAIN SAVED A MAN FROM A BURNING SHIP ONLY TO BE SHOVED OVERBOARD AND HAVE HIS BOAT STOLEN.(PHOTO)

 No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

 Electric transformer vandal electrocuted in Aba, others apprehended


A suspected vandal, identified as Obioma Joseph Nwadinma, has been electrocuted in Abia State while attempting to vandalize an. electricity transformer at Abayi Ogbuligba Junction in Osisioma Ngwa LGA.


His accomplice in the attempted theft was arrested by members of the public while trying to flee.


According to Edise Ekong, the Brand and Communication Manager for Aba Power, one of the vandals, Obioma Joseph Nwadinma, who was in his 20s, met his demise while attempting to steal upriser cables from the 500kVA distribution transformer but was electrocuted as he tried to escape the scene.


In another development, another individual, Isaac Ude, was arrested while tampering with prepaid meters at the Tonimas building, located at 10 Diobu Avenue off Aba-Owerri Road in Aba North LGA.


The suspected thief was apprehended by residents of the area and was handed over to Aba Power’s security team and the police.


Ekong praised the residents of Aba for their vigilance around electricity installations, noting that such vigilance was critical in curbing vandalism and ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply.


Ekong lamented the loss of life, emphasizing the shameful nature of Nwadinma’s actions, which have left his family and community embarrassed, even as he promised that power supply in Aba would soon improve.
