 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state.  SANWO-OLU APPOINTS OGUNLOLA AS NEW EXECUTIVE SECRETARY, LAW REFORM COMMISSION


Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has approved the appointment of Mrs. Oluyemisi Adefoluke Ogunlola as the new Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Law Reform Commission for a Five-Year term, effective from the 15th January, 2025.


A statement signed by the Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro said Mrs. Ogunlola's appointment was based on her exceptional dedication, diligence, and selflessness in her duties.

While wishing her a rewarding and impactful tenure, Agoro expressed confidence in her ability to drive an impactful change in the Commission to justify Mr. Governor's confidence and trust in her.


Before her appointment as the Executive Secretary of the Law Reform Commission, Mrs. Oluyemisi Ogunlola was a Director, (State Counsel) GL 17, in the Ministry of Justice.
