 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  ‘My dad made me feel broke’ – Davido


Famous Nigerian musician David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has revealed that his father’s wealth made him feel broke.


Davido made this known during his latest interview in Paris.


DAILY POST recalls that Davido, on Thursday, appeared at Amiri’s Fall/Winter show at Paris Fashion Week 2025, held at Palais de Tokyo, alongside singer Omah Lay.


Speaking in a trending interview snippet on social media, Davido was asked who has ever made him feel broke despite his wealth.


Interviewer: “In your life, have you ever met someone who made you feel broke?”


Davido replied: “Yeah, my dad.”


The singer said this months after he stated in an interview that it took years for him to realize that his father is a very wealthy man.


Davido is one of Nigeria’s richest musicians.
