 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali. In a significant move to enhance road safety in Onitsha North LGA, The Mayor, Hon. Nweze Tony Nwora, has ensured quality road repairs for a Traffic-Free Christmas and beyond.

 

Tony Nwora, is actively supervising the ongoing project themed "Operation Zero Potholes" in Onitsha North to enhance road safety and improve the quality of life for residents.


This impactful project aims to repair all problematic potholes across the Council area using high-quality asphalt. The City Mayor is committed to ensuring that residents enjoy a smooth and traffic-free celebration and beyond.


The Mayor's hands-on approach reflects his dedication to overseeing the work and ensuring that the team delivers exceptional results. Residents of Onitsha North can be rest assured that their welfare and the development of the community remain top priorities for him.


The Operation Zero Potholes project, which aligns with the transformative agenda of Mr. Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo to transform Anambra State into a livable, clean, enjoyable, and sustainable homeland, did not only aims to enhance road infrastructure but also underscores the Mayor's commitment to the progress and well-being of the citizens.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
