 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem.  Resident Doctors Suspend Strike After Ondo Government’s Swift Intervention


Resident doctors at the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital (UNIMEDTHC), Ondo Town, have called off their strike less than 24 hours after the Ondo State Government addressed their key demands.  


The doctors had embarked on industrial action earlier in the week over unpaid emoluments and poor working conditions. Despite appeals for patience by the hospital’s management, the doctors insisted on tangible resolutions.  


However, the Association of Resident Doctors’ Chairperson, Olagbe Kehinde, announced the suspension on Friday, crediting Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s prompt response.  


“The government has fulfilled critical demands, including payment of outstanding salaries, with assurances to address other issues such as the Medical Residency Training Fund and infrastructure improvements in 2025,” Mr. Kehinde stated.  


He further emphasized the doctors’ commitment to collaboration with the government to enhance healthcare delivery in Ondo State.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
