 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013.  Court Dissolves 13-Year Marriage Over Domestic Abuse and Disrespect


A Lugbe Grade 1 Area Court in Abuja has dissolved the 13-year marriage between Gaminana Aminat and her husband, Musa Abdulrahab, citing allegations of disrespect and physical abuse.


Presiding judge Aliyu Kagarko granted Aminat’s request for divorce under Islamic law and directed her to observe the mandatory three-month “Iddah” period before remarrying.


Aminat told the court that her husband had been mistreating her and showing disregard for her and her parents. She alleged that Abdulrahab frequently resorted to violence over minor disagreements and insulted her family when they tried to intervene.


Despite efforts from relatives to mediate, Abdulrahab reportedly refused to change his behavior. Aminat stated that she could no longer endure the abuse, neglect, and lack of respect, prompting her decision to seek divorce.


The respondent, Abdulrahab, did not oppose the dissolution of the marriage.
