 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  EFCC Commences Investigation of Suspected Oil Thieves, Six Trucks


The Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has commenced the investigation of seven suspected oil thieves and six trucks handed over to it by 4 Brigade, Nigerian Army on Wednesday, 

February 19, 2025.


Major D.R. Okoh , who represented the Commander,  Headquarter 4 Brigade, Nigerian Army at the handing over in Benin stated that the six trucks conveying 45,000 litres each of suspected illegal petroleum products were intercepted by troops of 4 Brigade Operation Wabaizigan at Upper Sakponba and Ologbo, along Benin Sapele Road, Benin City. According to him,  preliminary investigations showed that though they had approval to evacuate waste condensate oil, the trucks were arrested with products suspected to be condensate instead of condensate waste.


Receiving the suspects and the trucks on behalf of the Commission, Usman Abdullahi Nuhu, an deputy Superintendent of the EFCC, said the Commission will carry out further investigation to determine further line of action.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
