Enyimba Coach Eguma Speaks Out After Heartbreaking Defeat to Bendel Insurance

Enyimba's technical adviser, Stanley Eguma, has attributed his team's 1-0 defeat to Bendel Insurance in Benin City to the red card issued to defender Innocent Gabriel. Gabriel was sent off in the first half for a reckless challenge on Bendel Insurance's Kayode Oke, leaving Enyimba to play with 10 men for the remainder of the match.

Despite the setback, Eguma praised the quality of the game, saying, "It was a good game, but being a man down made things difficult for us." The defeat saw Enyimba drop to 10th position on the league table.

Enyimba will now shift their focus to their next match against Rivers United on Saturday, as they seek to bounce back from the loss. Eguma will be hoping that his team can learn from the experience and come back stronger in their upcoming fixture.
