 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Ghana's President Mahama Bans First-Class Travel for Government Appointees


In a bid to curb public expenditure and promote fiscal discipline, Ghana's President John Mahama has imposed a ban on first-class travel for all government appointees. This directive is part of the president's efforts to restore economic stability and public trust in governance amid the country's economic difficulties.


Speaking at the swearing-in of new ministers at the Jubilee House, President Mahama emphasized the need for modesty and prudent use of public resources. He prohibited all non-essential travel and directed the Chief of Staff to clear any necessary trips. Essential travel must be approved by the Chief of Staff, and appointees are expected to travel modestly, without luxury or extravagance.


President Mahama cautioned his appointees against arrogance and wasteful spending, stressing that public resources belong to the Ghanaian people. He urged them to avoid displays of affluence and instead embrace modesty, aligning with the administration's focus on fiscal responsibility.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
