 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Governor Zulum Supports Family of Senior Military Officer Killed In Damboa


This evening, His Excellency, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, received the Theater Commander and Commander of Sector 2 who  presented the family of a senior military officer killed in Damboa last week.


Governor Zulum expressed his deepest condolences to the family, saying the loss of their loved one is irreparable and that, the late officer died a hero, having dedicated his life to protecting the people of Damboa. The Governor also stated that, the government and the people of Borno State are indebted to the officer’s patriotism.


On behalf of the government and the good people of Borno, Governor Zulum presented a cheque of 30 million Naira to the officer’s family. He also assured them of the government’s continued support during this difficult time.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
