 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. ILLINOIS-AN URBANA HOME INVASION LEAVES A 7-YEAR-OLD CHILD AND A 43-YEAR-OLD MAN DECEASED. (PHOTO).


 Illinois- An Urbana home invasion leaves a 7-year-old child and a 43-year-old man deceased.


Police in Urbana responded to the report of a shooting on the 900 block of Lanore Drive. Once on the scene, police discovered a 7-year-old suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. The child was immediately transported to a local hospital where he unfortunately passed away.


While investigating the crime scene, police soon discovered another victim. A 43-year-old man was found suffering from gunshot wounds near the home. He was also transported to a local hospital where he also unfortunately passed away.


Police believe the deaths are a result of a home invasion. They have not announced if there are any suspects at this time.


Officials are asking anyone with any information regarding the home invasion and subsequent deaths to please call the Urbana Police Department at 1-217-384-2320.
