 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013. The Commonwealth Games, held every four years, brings together athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations.  LEKKI AIRPORT: LASG SIGNS MEMORANDUM WITH INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED SUMMA GROUP 


 The Lagos State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the internationally renowned Summa Group to develop and construct the highly anticipated Lekki-Epe International Airport which is one of the state’s flagship Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects.


Speaking during the signing ceremony, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu said the project aligns with the State’s vision to enhance connectivity, drive economic growth, and attract global investments in the state.


He explained further that if the Lekki-Epe International Airport is fully operational, it will decongest the existing Muritala Muhammed International Airport, unlock new opportunities for businesses to strive and would also be of immense benefit to the residents of Lagos State in other areas.
