 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  LEKKI AIRPORT: LASG SIGNS MEMORANDUM WITH INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED SUMMA GROUP 


 The Lagos State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the internationally renowned Summa Group to develop and construct the highly anticipated Lekki-Epe International Airport which is one of the state’s flagship Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects.


Speaking during the signing ceremony, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu said the project aligns with the State’s vision to enhance connectivity, drive economic growth, and attract global investments in the state.


He explained further that if the Lekki-Epe International Airport is fully operational, it will decongest the existing Muritala Muhammed International Airport, unlock new opportunities for businesses to strive and would also be of immense benefit to the residents of Lagos State in other areas.
