 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State.  NELFUND Disburses N20bn for 192,906 Students’ School Fees


The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has disbursed over N20 billion in institutional fees to tertiary institutions nationwide, benefiting 192,906 students, the agency announced on Monday.


In a statement from its management in Abuja, NELFUND refuted claims that N104 billion had been disbursed, clarifying that the actual amount stands at N20.07 billion as of February 3, 2025.


The Fund has also provided additional financial support, distributing over N12.8 billion in stipends to 169,114 students, with each receiving N20,000 monthly.


Reaffirming its commitment to transparency, NELFUND assured the public of continuous updates on loan disbursements.


The student loan scheme remains a key initiative of President Bola Tinubu’s administration. Established under the Access to Higher Education Act, NELFUND oversees loan applications, disbursements, and recovery, ensuring financial support for low-income students in tertiary institutions.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
