 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Ooni welcomes Olori Ashley, son to palace after 5 months


Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has welcomed his wife Olori Ashley Ogunwusi and their son, Prince Ademakinwa, to the palace in Ife, Osun State.

The king threw a grand homecoming ceremony for them on Friday.

Traditional rulers, dignitaries and well-wishers gathered at the palace to welcome the queen and prince.

Prince Ademakinwa was born on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Princess Royal Hospital in London, United Kingdom.

The Ooni announced his child’s birth on Instagram, saying: “…Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Folashade, who today birthed a Prince from the mother side of Ooni Adagba Royal Compound of Lafogido Ruling House and father side of Ooni Agbedegbede Royal Compound of Giesi Ruling house combined to the Royal throne of Oduduwa.”

Olori Ashley revealed she had a miscarriage of twins at 14 weeks in 2023.

In an Instagram post, she wrote: “Even though the enemies tried in our relationship for about a decade, but Olodumare has remained faithful in our lives. Last year was a little dark as our set of twins gained their wings at 14 weeks, but Olodumare remained faithful, he said What you need is a son to carry your forbears linage, a double CROWN PRINCE, now he has blessed us with our gorgeous son, who is not just only a prince of the source, but our CROWN PRINCE from both sides of his parents.”

Oba Ogunwusi married Olori Ashley as his fourth wife in October 2022.
