 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013.  Osun Communal Clash: Wole Oke Calls for Peace and Justice


Wole Oke, the lawmaker representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, has expressed deep sorrow over the violent clash in Esa Oke, Osun State, which resulted in multiple casualties.


In a statement from his media office, Oke commended security agencies for their prompt response in preventing further escalation. He condemned the killings, emphasizing that violence is never a solution and urging the community to embrace peace.


Calling for an impartial investigation, he stressed that justice must be served for the victims. He also appealed for the release of wrongfully detained individuals and free medical care for the injured.


The crisis erupted following the appointment of Prince Timileyin Oluyemi Ajayi as the Olojudo of Ido-Ayegunle. In response, Governor Ademola Adeleke has ordered the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the attacks.
