  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Renowned Singer and Pianist Roberta Flack Passes Away at 88


The music world is mourning the loss of legendary Grammy-winning singer and pianist Roberta Flack, who passed away peacefully on Monday at the age of 88, surrounded by her family.


Flack's distinctive vocal and musical style captivated audiences in the 1970s with hits like "Killing Me Softly with His Song" and "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face." Her legacy extends beyond her iconic songs, as she broke boundaries and records throughout her illustrious career.


According to her publicist, Flack "died peacefully surrounded by her family" and will be remembered as a "proud educator" and trailblazing performer.


Flack had been battling ALS since 2022, although the exact cause of her death was not disclosed.


Born Roberta Cleopatra Flack on February 10, 1937, in Black Mountain, North Carolina, she began singing in churches and playing piano at a young age. She went on to graduate from Howard University at 19 and began teaching music in the Washington, D.C. area.


Flack's music career took off in the late 1960s, with performances at Mr. Henry's Restaurant on Capitol Hill and eventual success with her unique blend of pop, folk, and soul music.


Throughout her career, Flack earned numerous accolades, including multiple Grammy Awards, and cemented her place as one of the most beloved and respected voices in music.
